Saturday marked the last day of Summer and first day of Fall although it’s still 99+ in Los Angeles. So in thee Fall spirit I went to the last STREET FOOD CINEMA event at the Los Angeles Historic Park to watch one of my all time favs SUPER BAD. Ha Evan singing These Eyes had me rolling lol. We ate unhealthy greasy food truck food, kicked up dust from the lot and laughed at Fogell’s crazy rants.
PS: don’t ever rock your LITA’s to the park… I almost fell twenty thousand times…
Burberry Prorsum is one of my favorite designer lines thus far. Thee tailoring is always impeccable and the outerwear just makes you want to wear year round. I came up with so many DIY inspirations within the first minute of the show. I will also be looking to do lots with metallics and Ombre’s come SS13.
I am so proud of my fam for opening up a bi-weekly VINTAGE garage sale at THE LITTLE RED DOOR located at 1561/1559 Jerrold Ave San Francisco, CA 94124. It’s middle of September and it’s still 90 + degrees outside. Please help us!!! Nonetheless thee pool parties are still jumping. Recently hit up the Just Be Cool pool party at the standard hotel in Hollywood. Met some cool people listened to some good music and was told that I should start my own clothing line based on the shirt that I made alone. Something I have considered but never acted upon because I think of myself as more of a creative director.
OH YEAH… I was recently used in a article over at theclosetfreaks.com… Go check out Modern Day Hippie Post!!!
In the spirits of#NYFW, I have been lusting over many of the collections and street style looks that I will be DIYing. This week in fashion has been remarkably innovative and inspiring from daily looks June Ambrose has been posting on instaGRAM to the Rodarte SS13 runway show. Next September, I will make it my duty to witness and document my own experiences from SS 14 Fashion Week… Cali girl and College senior it will be too cold and I will be well into my final studies to attend FW13 :-/… Nonetheless, it will be an rewarding experience of a lifetime and maybe the only time in my life (next season) that I will be able to be a spectator for Fashion Week NY.
I decided to go the other route with this post and review of trends and pieces I loved for future DIY projects to come.
